Cyd had been in her room going through game withdrawals when she had an urge to check the gidget thing she had. After reading the invatation she looked up to find that she was at that darn fountan and she was in her codex costume. Cyd had no idea what to do so she just sat there and waiting for it all to be over. She had never been the "party type", and always ended up crying, so the waiting it out plan was the safest thing she could do.

*jumps into about twenty threads at once and creates time paradoxes*

"Hi there!"

A alien-looking girl in a sort-of ninja suit with fairy wings runs over and pounce-hugs her, "I'm Nepeta! I'm making sure to make lots of human friends so I can have lots of people for my shipping wall! Who are you?"

*lol she is cute*

"Oh! Um, hello there... Nepeta nice to meet you." Cyd tried to put a smile on, but she was not too sure if her face was listening to her brain.

"My name is... well it's Cyd, but you can call me Codex." This time she knew her smile shined through.

"Oh! That's such a cool name! Wait, two cool names!" Nepeta giggles, "So far I haven't met any humans with two different names~! Why did you give yourself two?"

Cyd could not help the giggle that escaped. "My parents named me Cyd, but my friends call me Codex." It was silly, but she was really missing her friends, and being called Codex.

"Your... parents named you?" blink blink, "Woah, humans are WIERD! Is it true that humans actually care for their children instead of a lusus?" she was sure Terezi had been pulling her leg. Amazing.

Cyd had no idea what a "Lusus" was, but she could answer half of that question. "Um... yeah, 'humans' care for thier kids... what the heck is a lusus?"

"Uhhh.... it's like an animal that takes care of trolls after they pupate. So when a troll gets out of its cocoon, it fights an animal and that creature becomes their lusus. I had a really sweet lusus who was pawssibly the bestest kitty I've ever seen, but he died... his name was Pounce de Leon, we used to search for the Fountain of Cute together!" now she misses him. Oh well.
