this glass house is burning down.
its been an emotional weekend i must say. i was overjoyed by a little suprise visit at work on friday by a certain someone that i really wanted to see ;-). but friday night was cut short by sisters interuppting, curfews, and rather difficult goodbyes...
saturday was filled by rambunctious children chasing me, jackie, boscia and jack with water balloons and dropping buckets of water on our heads from buckets from the roof at a party i was hired to babysit at. hey, at least we made 80 bucks each. we followed that up with a get together at my house as there were no parents within a 150 mile radius all evening. got a goodnight phonecall and made me happy and sad at the same time. in summary, my little sister is officially corrupted, with a little help from sarah shoen as well.
this morning i woke up tired groggy and in need of a bagel. so i went to visit sarah at BW, which she had woken up at the crack of dawn to get to by way of my alarm clock. excellent. bagels were superb. i followed up my bagel with a stellar 2 hour nap, which i have just woken up from, showered, and now i need to go to work. summers practically over and i have 3 days to read 3 books. blah.
