I do wish Fred and George had told me what happens when Natters go wild. I haven't been able to touch mine for a week. It would bark at me and then set at attacking one of the tapestries that had a rabbit in it. I don't even want to think about what the dried brown flecks all over it's cover is.
Things have been quite slow ever since we've returned from holidays. I suppose it has to do with not being a prefect anymore. Lavender seems to be doing a adequate job. As for Pansy being replaced, well, I can see signs of improvement in Slytherin already, despite all the damage she has undoubtedly done.
Ooohhh, sometimes I just wish I could march up to McGonagall and demand she give me back my prefecture. It's not that I don't think Lavender is doing anything wrong, I just think that... certain people need more help, that's all. I suppose there isn't anything I could do in any case. Certain people are just so stubborn and unwilling to accept help, even when I offer it time and time again. I just wish...

Oh never mind. It's hopeless, really.

Poor Harry has been looking horrid lately, like he hasn't been sleeping. I hope you're not keeping him awake Ron. I hope he's not still upset about being banned from Quidditch. I can't see how anyone could focus on such a thing with exams coming up.

Well, maybe I can a little. I can hardly concentrate on my studies these days. Everyone seems so strained. Hopefully this date with Terry will help me relax a little. I can't imagine how it would, but Parvati says that dates generally do that sort of thing. I do hope she's right.
