My history with the new Star Trek movie is this: my mother started twitching as soon as the promos came out, so I assumed it was a lost cause, and when she brought it up I assured her I had no desire to see it. And then it came out, and everyone loved it and it was getting terribly good reviews. So I started wearing her down.

OH MY GOD I LOVED IT. LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT.

Points of awesome:
-- Baby Spock was adorable.
-- Ahhh Chekov is my favorite. Except for all my other favorites.
-- Damn it, Jim!
-- OF COURSE OLSON DIED, HE WAS WEARING RED.
-- McCoy, you are amazing, please never stop existing.
-- I want to give Scotty a sandwich. And make his -- pet? -- put those glasses back on, because he freaked me the fuck out. :( :( :(
-- "Is the parking brake on?" "No." "Is the external inertial dampener disengaged?" "... ready for warp, sir."
-- ... everything, um.

My money from WPI finally came today, rock the fuck on. So my mom and I went out and spent a ridiculous amount of time out. (I cannot remember all the places we went, but oh my goodness we must have hit half the stores in the mall. And then Target, Wal-Mart, and then Wegmans for ice cream and pop.) But now I have luggage, a potential new bra, stuff to start doing yoga with, new shampoo&conditioner, and we have tiny dumbbells to help us while we're walking. So I feel pretty good, on the whole.

... really tired, but that's not much of a shocker.

no mqp puns are forthcoming, real life what?, movies, redshirt genocide ahoy!!!, i don't know what this is, i totally win at life, attempts to clothe myself intelligently, ... huh, facepalm to the power of infinity, my family is awesome, my dragons they are adorable, i've got 90000 pounds in my pajamas, college! :o!!!, !!!!!!!!!!!!!, health (or lack thereof)
