Today was made of amusing stories about nitrogenous gases and also a very bizarre and incredibly hilarious mix-up with my dad involving me, Beth, and Rue.

(HI DADDY. By the way, why on earth would I have been referring to myself in the third person?)

Also it was made of hey, look, vectors, I recognize all this stuff, this is fun. And the mailroom being weird, but that's not really news.

And then I started writing out what I did yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, and realized halfway through that I write like I talk (that is, I do eventually get from point A to point B, I promise, but there might be a few detours along the way, hey look it's Canada! wait, we started off in one of the square states in the middle) so um! Thing. Here, let me try and be concise.

On Friday! Beth showed up at my door, unexpectedly, and then later we went and saw OK Go (who were awesome). Apparently their second guitar/tambourine/keyboard guy is from Worcester! (At that point someone shouted "MASS ACAD KID!!!" and then I looked it up and apparently it was true, which is hilarious.) Also some of the security guys did the dance from that video where they dance in the backyard!

Also there was a glockenspiel. Very exciting.

Saturday! Um. We drove a lot. Also got cookies. And then Beth and I squashed Rue in the middle of the front seat and picked up some Real, Biological Twins, who were awesome, and went and saw, uh. Musical Collage. I think. According to Musical Collage, the worst music in the world is some teacher singing "My Heart Will Go On". Which is good to know I think!

And then Sunday we went Out Into The Sun and Played Cards. I actually remember the rules to this game, which is fairly revolutionary. After that we took a train into the city and bumped into Zoe slightly after that (by "bumped into" what I think I mean is that we were walking alongside each other for a bit -- ten seconds, I don't know -- and then Rue said "hey look, it's Zoey!") and proceeded to make our way to the Roseland.

There was a line. I am fairly sure that by the time we got to the end of this line we had actually entered New Jersey. Also I am told that we passed someone in a Clan hoodie but I did not see! (And wasn't actually all too surprised I hadn't noticed.) But it was okay, because eventually we did in fact make it into the Roseland! The this-isn't-actually-the-important-part part had very low ceilings (and very dark walls and reddish lighting) but then it opened up and I was a lot calmer.

And then The Hush Sound came on! And were awesome, y'know, in general. Someone threw a baby doll onstage! And also what looked like candy wrappers or something? I don't know. And Greta was a trumpet.

But then we had to leave, and it was sad, because Zoey's awesome. (:(.) So we walked (into CT, I think) and then turned around and went back to Grand Central, and took a train back to Rue's house, and things. There was also dinner, and it took me way too long to figure out why my chicken fingers tasted of lettuce (although I did eventually so I feel that's a point in my favor). And then we had to leave for real, and it was very sad, because hey, Rue's awesome too.

The best part of the drive, I think, was the sign which informed us of the $219 fine for littering.

And then we got back and I contemplated not going to my classes anyway, but instead I got up and showered and things. (See above, re: wacky nitrogen shenanigans.) And then I saw Beth off, after I got back from DAKA lunch.

And then there was a mandatory floor meeting (missing a good chunk of the floor) that interrupted me. Oh well.

the evil twin paradox, at least 'e make it sound like moosic, ... huh, look actual biological twins, my dad has gtalk & knows how to use it, golden gods with halitosis, dorm life is crazy!, zoey gets the last tag, travel, college! :o!!!, concert time woo-hoo!, eerie similarities are our specialty
