My iguana is producing eggs. I took her to the vet because she had an odd growth on her foot & she wasn't eating. I was worried that she had an infection of some sort. Turns out it isn't related. The vet felt her tummy and said she felt eggs. A x-ray showed some immature eggs. She hasn't seen another iguana in years, and she'd getting old for an captive iggy, so this isn't really good news. She could have trouble laying them and could develop a calcium deficiency producing them. She's also partially blind and doesn't like it when things change so a long trip to the vet to take care of her if she gets eggbound is going to be stressful.  I guess we build her a nesting box, feed her calcium, and hope for the best.
