Interview Time!

Snatched from fallen_ophelia:

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me" or something of that nature.
2. I will respond by asking you five questions.
3. You will then update your LJ with the answers to the questions.

1. What is your favourite Star Trek series and character, any reason why?

My favorite series is Voyager, with The Next Generation in close second, and Deep Space 9 in third. Favorite character is a bit harder...either Data, 7 of 9 or Chaptain Janeway. I'm a sucker for a great female role model, but Data is just awesome.

2. Recommend us a good book, preferably one I haven't read :-D.

Changewinds by Jack L. Chalker. Tons of fantasy creatures, a beautiful tattoo/makeup job, and nerds turned wizards. It's about as awesome a fantasy novel gets without having dragons in it!

3. What was the name of your first pet and what type of animal was it?

I don't remember which one was my first pet. I had two zebra finches named Lovi & Birdi...who had many baby birds. I had a black gerbil named Lightning who killed my sister's brown gerbil Thunder. I also had tadpoles/frogs as a kid. I really don't remember which was my first pet. In terms of family pets, my mother had a Boxer (before I was born & he was put to sleep when I was about 5) named Rockie. We later got a Bull Mastiff name Bull (short for Bullwinkle), but he snapped at my sister & was given away.

4. You are a dragonrider, what would type of dragon would you ride and what is your dragon's name. If you need to explain why your dragon was named so, please do!

~big grinz~ My dragon would be a beautiful black, purple, blue iridescent color with black twisted horns (almost resembling the horns of a unicorn)...the whiskers of a Chinese dragon, but the stout body of a European dragon and an awesome wingspan. Her name would be a purring gutteral sound only made by dragons, but I would refer to her as Eiqua (the name of a dragon in a poem I wrote back in elementary school).

5. The truth is out there, resistance is futile with that in mind, where in the galaxy would you want to live if you had a choice? (Can be made up, found in a book, movie etc..)

Although, I love Star Trek, I don't think I'd fair well as a space traveler. I am naturally a homebody who only ventures out in search of knowledge & cute animals to fawn over. I think I would readily find myself at home on Naboo from Star Wars (Ep. 1-3). Beautiful, a love of knowledge, & goofy Gungans to play with.

Update: If you'd like to answer one of fallen_ophelia's questions or a question I asked someone else, feel free. I'm going to try to make everyone's questions different, so there will be tons to choose from.
