I got polled!
I would always make a sarcastic remark when I heard some study report that some percentage of Americans support or don't support something and the study only polled like 1000 people. That's not much of a sample size for one, but also since they didn't poll me personally, they didn't have my opinion. I've also never had anyone I personally knew tell me that they were polled on their opinions of the president, etc. So, who's to know if they don't just poll the same 1000 people each time and they all are from one side of the spectrum. The scientist in me knows a bit better, but still that was always a tiny pet peeve of mine. Well, today it is laid to rest. I was polled this afternoon on my political opinions. So, if they announce that now only 10% of Americans support Bush, you'll know why. :)
