The View: Evolution vs. Creationism

Hey, The View's level of critical discussion on the evolution-creationism debate is increasing a bit. Now, if we could get them to differentiate between respectful/civil discussion and teaching non-science in science class! Well not even all Xtians believe in creationism. Catholics believe in evolution. (You should hear my ultra-conservative (Right wing, strict Catholic) dad rail against creationists. I *love* him so much when he does that. He thinks that they're a bunch of morons (well, duh). So at least the East Coast and Chicago are safe (also anywhere with high Latino populations).

Yep, the two aren't required to be together. I just find it interesting that the christian creationist will be the first ones to get upset if you suggest teaching a polytheistic version of creationism. They don't seem to get that the creationism/ID that they are advocated for is not a universal view even amoung religious people who belief in some form of creationism.
