Damnit, I didn't celebrate Darwin Day!
Feb. 12th = Darwin's Birthday. I really think that since I'm an evolutionist & atheist (hence, no granted "religious" holidays to date), I should be given the day off of work on this day (or the following Monday in this year's case). Seriously, what "religious" holidays is there for atheists really? Are there any good/interesting candidates for an atheist holiday other than Darwin Day?

If Darwin Day was an official atheist/evolutionist holiday, then we could all celebrate it by drinking
these and eating finch-shaped cakes (ideas from a thread in
atheist).

Update: (other possible holidays...was every great scientist that went up against church dogma born in February...?)
* Galileo Galilei's Birthday (Feb 15th)
* Nicolaus Copernicus' Birthday (Feb 19th)
