Happy Choice Day!

Showing how much of a rock I live under once school starts, I just today found out that it's the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and Happy Choice Day. I didn't do much to celebrate--other than reading some articles and blogs on the subject. I have thought about writing a piece on the local Planned Parenthood for a friend's e-zine...but seeing as there are some protestors out there on any given day and people have talked about rampant harassment, I'm not sure I want to be anywhere near it.

I really haven't gotten much done today. I'm just now finishing my homework due Wednesday and have to finish reading a paper for a class on Tuesday. Other than that, I'm waiting for the book from Amazon. I've gotten a lot of rest and done some chores around the house. I haven't even looked at the supplies for the Spring dog show match, though.

Netflix update: We watched Mallrats & the Simpsons disk a few times this weekend. I keep getting various lines Jay says stuck in my head. "Snutchie Muntchies!" Probably after Chasing Amy, I'll lose my Jay & Silent Bob fascination...hopefully. The movie reminded me alot of Empire Records and I really wonder why I never saw it before now. The Simpsons disk was a bit of a let down since it only had one episode on it (and all the extras for season 1)..."Ah! It's the Baby-sitter Bandit!" Well, some anime on tomorrow night.
