1. Venison - recently, on my honeymoon in Cancún.

3. Huevos rancheros - oh yeah, I grew up in southern California

5. Crocodile - no, but they serve it at a local late night spot, Montage, and I’ll try it as soon as I’m no longer vegan . . . if that ever happens
6. Black pudding - yes I’m sure I have but can’t remember where or when . . .
7. Cheese fondue - no and now I’m vegan!

10. Baba ghanoush - good flavor, but usually too slimy
11. Calamari - I’m not a huge fan
12. Pho - Mmmm just tried this recently in P-town and fell in love with a particular restaurant’s vegan variety. Then they got bought out and changed the recipe to watered down boring broth. Sad!
13. PB&J sandwich - I’m especially fond of ‘Better n’ Peanut Butter’ with Trader Joes Organic, reduced sugar raspberry preserves. Mmmmm.
14. Aloo gobi - so *that’s* what that’s called.
15. Hot dog from a street cart - I’m a boozer, oh yeah
16. Epoisses - it’s entirely possible but I can’t commit to it
17. Black truffle - again I can’t say for sure
18. Fruit wine made from something other than grapes - the Wifey went through a serious Plum Wine phase. She fed me quite a bit of it.
19. Steamed pork buns - I’m 99% sure I was fed these by a Chinese woman who stayed with us when I was a wee one.
20. Pistachio ice cream - It’s pretty low on my list of cold creamy goodness, but yeah I’ve had it
21. Heirloom tomatoes - Hells yeah! And I’ll be growing some of my own next year.
22. Fresh wild berries - pretty much sums up my childhood. Mmmmmm blackberries one-at-a-time straight off the bush when they’re all warm from the sun Mmmmmm
23. Foie gras - Geoffrey fed me this crap. It tasted like dog food. To each their own, I guess.
24. Rice and beans -I want to meet the person who didn’t bold this
25. Brawn, or head cheese
26. Raw Scotch Bonnet peppe r - Never had the occasion to, but I’d take it in a heartbeat
27. Dulce de leche - yum yum yummy
28. Oysters - not a huge fan, but if I must it’s raw with lime and plenty of Tabasco

30. Bagna cauda - no but t sure sounds tasty

68. Haggis - At high tea at the famous Willow Tea Room in Glasgow, Scotland. It was much better than expected, even with a hangover.

71. Gazpacho - I got a little obsessed with it in high school (blame the drugs). The low rent special at the Soj with the gazpacho and garlicky Ceasar salad is mmmmmm

73. Louche absinthe - Well apparently I did it wrong - I didn’t ‘louche’ my absinthe (we lit it on fire instead, naturally)
