WLTP MS 3

Aug 11, 2008 15:01

Today I will be reviewing WLTP MS 3! The cool thing was that I bought the last one at the HMV I went too! I was cised XD. Oh and my Okaasan bought it for me! That was pretty much the best thing about it...because a good portion of the DVD is whackkkkk. Either the song is good and the routine sucks or vice-versa.

(

1. CRAZY TRAIN / THE PROPHET
Well...It's the routine that we all know from I Love Para+ PV. It's in the "All-star" fashion, where everyone dances together. I didn't pay too much attention to it...well except Mai's hair REALLY bothers me lol

2. BOOM BOOM / DJ ZORRO
Surprisingly I kinda liked this song! I think it's kind of hot! The routine was tolerable, it's on my "To-learn-list"...um...Mai and Rin looked pretty cute lol

3. BARCELONA / DJ ZORRO
Honestly it kind of sounded like Boom Boom, so that kind of turned me off of it. But it's worth watching atleast one time through. Even though Chiaki was in it...Why is she still there? Can't they find someone to replace her?

4. LA MALA SUERTE / DJ ZORRO
This routine feels like there is sooo much going on in it! It looks like there is a little vogue influence in it. The song it's self is Ok...not horrible or great. Not really a stand out song for me.

5. RHAPSODY / BLACK LIST feat. LA CIMA
This song was whack. WHACK. WHACKKKKKK. I always skip over it XD. I could be in the other room and think it's about to come on, so I'll run in and change before it does. I didn't really care about the routine because...well...I hate the song.

6. EXORCIST / THE PROPHET
I LOVE this song! It's hot like fiyahhhh! The routine is simple but pretty hot. Simple enough for an intermediate parapara dancer but maybe a little hard for a beginner techpara dancer. And I love that the girl's name is Tina lmao. Ohh and on another side note I want Yuya's boots...like seriously. I tried to find the exact ones while I was in 109-2 but they didn't have them D8. So if anyone knows where to get those hollerr @ me. lmao. No lie.

7. AVE AVE / THE PROPHET
Kyohei and Mai...I think that makes it self-explanatory. I was kind of surprised they decided to put it on this DVD instead of it being on a Gazen.(excuse me..."Chozen")

8. THE POWER OF DANCIN' / Mr. FANG
This is another song that I think is HOT. The vocals kind of do it for me XD The routine seems alittle more difficult, but I love the song, so I would put alot of effort into learning it.

9. YEAH! / CHRISTINE feat. Mr. FANG
One word. CUTEEEEEEEE!! I really like this version as well as the original. I was kind of expecting to hate it, and the routine. The best part is that it kept some of the euro routine, but kind of translated it in to techno. One of my favoritees 8DD

10. HERE WE GO / BLACK LIST feat. LA CIMA
Junya and Yuya are really beast, so I gave this routine a second look. The song isn't all that great, to be perfectly honest...but I think it could definitely grow on me.

11. BLOOD ON FIRE / CHRISTINE feat. GO 2
I felt this was COMPLETELY unneccesary. And again...Mai's hair...

12. 911 (RUN!) / IN2
The bootsss!! lmao. But I LOVE This one! The routine is a bit confusing but the song is just so catchy! I find myself humming it alot actually XD

13. CHECK IT OUT / Mr. FANG feat. VIOLET
My Whack-o-meter reads about a.....8! I really can't stand the sabi though. It reminds me of a catholic church lol. That's ironic lol.

14. YOU TURN ME / TANITH feat. MISTER E
HTF lol. They looked really cute and obviously danced pretty well. The song is one of my other favorites, same with the routine. I like 8D

15. AMIGOS / LA CIMA
Not much to really say with this one. I did like the angles during the 2nd go-through of the song.

16. SPACEMAN / WATER QUEEN
Fujiko doesn't scare me anymore! She's actually one of my favorites now. But yea...not much else to say.

17. HIGHER FORCES / MISSION ONE I think I watched like 2 seconds of this one...lol that is all.

Top 3 Songs:
+ Exorcist
+ 911
+ The Power Dancin'
Honorable Mention:
+ Boom Boom
Top 2 Dances:
+Exorcist
+Yeah!
Honorable Mention:
+You Turn Me

Worst 3 Songs:
+ Rhapsody
+ Check it Out
+ Blood on Fire

Overall: This was a VERY lukewarm DVD. Avex, as usual, is slippin. The dancers are pretty decent. Some of the dances feel like a desperate attempt to interest more dancers into buying DVDs. If your main goal is to add to your collection, this is a MUST BUY! If you are looking to find a new favorite routine or something along that line, this also may be the DVD for you. But it's definitely not a "OMG I NEED TO ORDER THIS NOWWWW!!!"... maybe a "Hmm...I'll wait for a couple of weeks/months." I Give this DVD a: 6/10
