Party Tiiiiime!
Woo, got home about 20 minutes ago from celebrating Masai's birthday at Will and Misato's house. Just remembered that I had to take my sister to community service in like an hour so I might as well kill some time here.
MAN, talk about shitty driving conditions on the way there. I'm just glad we got there safely, shit was pretty hectic. So we get to the house and right off jumpstreet Will and I get down to some Third Strike business. It was fun going best of 7 against Will. I lost the tie breaker at 3-up but I was hella satisfied with my performance. Third Strike is awesome!
Then the Tekken DR started to pop off on the majestic Playstation 3; even got to play it on one of them fancy ass monitors. Much comedy and fun was had. I seriously don't even know where to begin breaking down the funny, nor do I want to go through the trouble (good luck Larry). Keywords and phrases of the night: double dipping, Buujinda, crack on top, pigpen, project green light, purple people, etc.
2 out of the 3 rooms in the house had Tekken DR going down at one point, Xbox 360 action, PSP's linking up, DS wifi action, KOF, Third Strike, Hyper Street Fighter II, and Mario Kart Double Dash; talk about a spectrum! I was really surprised about how the demographic in the house was so down with video gaming. Not only that but Masai straight jumped in the Tekken session with a fucking S.W.A.T. team vest talking about laying down some Buujinda...who does that? A hero, that's who!
Needless to say the night was hella surreal and VERY educational! All in all, props to Will and Misato for being phenomenal hosts...everyone seemed to have a wonderful time revolving around video games, food, and great company.
