Pressies in the mail.
Today was a good day. All the FUTM rec's have been processed to the end of February. I still have a month to do ... but they are running a lot smoother now .. and then I can hand them over to Graham. I did this with the worse hangover I've had in a looooong long time.
Yesterday, being a Tuesday, was "winge club nite" ... which is spent in my local, the spoon and mars. It also being St Georges day, the pub had a special on: A pint of Bombardier for just 99 of your english pennies.
Now the winge club usually starts around 6:00-ish and ends at 8:00, and I usually drink Theakstons Best cos it's a nice light ale and I can drink that all night with little to no ill effects. Last night differed in as much as we got to the pub early (about 5) ... I was drinking Directors and Bombardier which are the very opposite of light, and was there till about 9:30. I was a tad merry ... or to quote my father, "I was trousered."
After getting home by the beer scooter (that magical mythical device..) I spent a couple hours on the phone ... cos when you are drunk you need to reach out and touch someone!
Then this morning I got mail! .... a sheep pez dispenser and a CD of sappy songs from Misty
