I like this drabble because Colby's father and his grandfather have different opinions about war, and I wanted to show that in a little story.
I picked up the idea of the bug story from the streets last week. A grandfather was with a little girl and she asked if ants had the right to live. The old man told him that of course they did, and the girl smiled so widely I couldn't help but turning that little moment into a fic. Thanks to the people who gave me the idea! *g*
Yeah... I wasn't very creative in this one. Hope it's worth reading, though.
No idea how many parts there will be, by the way. But hopefully, I'll get to write them before the end of the month, before the challenge ends. :)

I read it... I liked it. Can't wait til Colby gets older. I loved the ant story. I think there was one part where you miss used a pronoun, but I can't remember where.
Hey, off topic of this--any suggestions for a title for my story? I can give you a heads up on what's going to go wrong if you need...I'm ready to post part one..but it needs a title.
