addendum re: goblet of fire
oh i was going to comment on how /english/ this harry potter movie felt. not that the others weren't english, at least in the sense of employing english actors etc etc. but this one just felt ... really, really english. i'm not sure why i feel that way. i keep thinking of fred and george; they just seem utterly english to me somehow. i think their haircuts are involved in my feeling that way. maybe that's what it is - it might be something i'm picking up from the styles of clothing and hair, and random little references made throughout (like that song harry and fred and george are singing, when they're teasing ron about being in love with krum - it struck me as some sort of british cultural reference which i wasn't getting).
