Rather than watching Arashi let onto a treadmill on a green back, I would rather see them walking on location, on a real floor! Seriously they cannot be idols elevated so much that they can't even tread common ground? Jokes!
Yes yes Rabu Rainbow PV and all that.
I could watch a whole lot of Ochan lazing around on a couch. And if several members could in turn sit on them in their own unique way, yes that would make my day.
Nino, Nino is perfect as always! Does all his shots all in one go.
Just noticing the little details, like the way Ochan pulls at his sweater sleeves before he the stylist puts his jacket on him.
Jun's eyes rolling around to catch the time on the cameraman's wrist.
Sho, always thinking too hard in between remembering lyrics and envisioning the perfect premise for his mise en scene.
Another who simply cannot multi-task, Aiba-san graces us with an awesomely royal stack. And he's totally the sweaty kid, sitting home on the summer holidays, who sings into a rotating fan, to make that funny noise.
So much imaginary scenery to envision, on an imaginary backdrop, far be it for the director to capture any semblance of authenticity. Thank you James Cameron, 3D is here to stay.
Seem to watch Makings far more than PVs these days. When you contrast that perfection, with the tired eyes and fluorescent lighting in documentary film making, so much on the screen tells you about that moment in time. Somehow I am in love with being enveloped in that private world for that second, more than any degree of CG could fasten diamonds to my eyes.
Don't you want to know where that wrestling Nino and Ohno go home at night?
Just, preliminary observations on first watchings, might add more later.

Oh yeah the whole diaspora from Vox is really peeving me off. I can't feel at home on LJ because all I have are locked away actually real personal entries, and I'm still mourning all the comments we're losing on pictures that won't be exported to here, and.. all. And I don't like this LeapFrog lilypad of lonely blogging on Typepad!
