Summary: Tora meets a fatal accident leaving Saga wondering if everything will ever go back to normal.
Warning: Sappy tearjerker story. i think. And this is still unbeta'd. too tired to do so. will do it later. (i self -beta)

"Yeah, Saga, I'm on my way there."
"Don't be in such a hurry hun, I'm just about to leave the house."
"I know, but I cant wait to see you."
"If you say so. I'll see you in a bit, ok?"
"Alright. I love you Saga."
"You are so cheesy. But... I love you too." Saga drops the call from the other line and readies himself to leave the house for another date with the man he's prepared to spend the rest of his life with.

Saga looks out the window of the coffee shop, it's been half an hour and Tora is late. Tora is never late, if there's someone late, it's sure to be Saga.
Where could he be...?
Saga sighs, he checks his watch, 5:30 pm. He tries calling Tora's phone but it cannot be reached. Suddenly, a surge of worry falls all over Saga, he can feel his heart thumping off his chest, he became uneasy, he wants to leave the place but the optimist in him is telling him to wait.
"SAGA!"
Saga turns around with a smile on his face when he saw Shou running up to him in a panic.
"We've been trying to call you! Why can't we reach your phone?!?"
"You know I block other people's calls when me and Tora goes on a date."
"Saga, we have to leave. NOW!"
"I can't... Tora will.."
"Tora's in the hospital! Come on!" Shou drags Saga out, calling Hiroto on the way as they both hop into the car.
"I found Saga! You can stop the search now. Yes. We'll both see you and Nao in the hospital."
"WHAT HAPPENED?!?! Nothing happened to Tora, right?! Shou! Answer me!"
"Tora got into an accident. A speeding truck hit him when the truck driver tried to beat the red light. The car is beyond recognizable. Saga.. he's in a very critical condition..."
"NO! No.. H-he was just talking to me... he was..." panic-stricken, Saga starts to cry nonstop.
"He's still alive Saga. Well.. barely. Stay calm. Stop talking about him in the past tense."

"Saga!" Nao rushes to him and gives him a big hug.
"How is he?" Saga asks.
"He's still in the operating room... We're praying hard nothing worse will happen to him... We're praying hard..." Hiroto answered, he too was crying, he and Tora used to be room mates after all.

"Saga... get some rest..." Shou tells him after waking up from his nap.
"...No. I want to be awake when the operation's finished..." Saga drinks the last of his 7th coffee. He starts crying again, "Tora... don't leave me... I wont forgive you if you do..."
"Saga... we all know he wont. He loves you so much... He'd trade the world for you... Saga... Calm down... you need to rest... the operation's taken at least 5 hours already... you need to take a break..." Shou gives his jacket to Saga and comforts him when a doctor finally emerges out of the operating room.
"Doctor! How is he? He's ok, isn't he?!" Saga jumps out of his seat, waking up the rest of his friends who had fallen asleep as he throws questions to the man in white.
"He's stable now. We had to operate his head, since he had a hemorrhage, be thankful he was rushed here immediately..."
"Is there still something wrong...?" Saga asks as he didnt like the tone of the doctor's voice.
"That... we cannot be sure until he wakes up...we're keeping him here until he does, we shall observe any progress that he'll make. He'll be transferred to a private room in a while."

Saga carefully wipes Tora's body with a wet towel, making sure not even a speck of dirt is on his beloved's body.
"See...? Tora, I clean you up so well, huh? Just like you want whenever we take a shower together." He holds his sleeping boyfriend's hand, it was warm, but not responding to his touch, if Tora was awake, he'd immediately lock his hand on him and never let go.
"Hun... it's been three days... please wake up... wake up for me..." He gives Tora's hand a kiss, and lies his head on the bed, falling asleep.
Saga wakes up when he felt the hand he is holding twitch. He wasnt sure if it was real until he heard Tora moan, Saga immediately stands up to call for a doctor, he is so relieved that Tora is finally waking up, Saga's tears broke out when Tora opens his eyes, and scans around the room.
"Tora... welcome back..."
Tora stares at him, not even blinking, "... Who are you...? Why do you know my name...?"
"Y-you don't remember me...?"
"No... Not really..."
"Tora... It's me... Please remember me... I'm..."
"I dont remember you! I dont know you! Stop messing with my head!"
A doctor and a nurse rushes into the room, Tora became hysterical, Saga kept crying, the nurse had to calm the patient down as the doctor takes Saga out of the room with disappointment in his eyes.
"Doctor... What's wrong with him...? Why doesn't he remember me at all?"
"That's what I was scared of. The accident caused a minor damage on his hippocampus, I was scared he will have post - traumatic amnesia, he can recall things, people, but some he will forget, depending on the impact of the accident to him, he may be cured, at worst, he wont be, he is the only one who can actually heal himself fully."
"Of all things to forget... Of all people... Me."
"Sir... I know that you love him dearly, I can see how much you've taken care of him for the days that he's been here. If he loves you just as much, there's no way he wont remember you. Love, after all cannot be explained by science."
Saga thanks the doctor and returns to Tora's room, whom he finds calmly sleeping. It hurts him so much that he is forgotten by the one person he loved so much... Saga walks to the bed, gives Tora's forehead a kiss and leaves.

"So... Do you think he'll remember us?" Hiroto asks Saga.
"It will suck if he remembers you except for me, but if not, we'll just reintroduce ourselves." Saga opens room 305 to be shocked. The room is empty.
"What the... Where is he?!" Saga runs out of the room to find the nearest nurse he can find to ask where 305's patient went.
"The one from the car accident? His parents called, he'll be transferred to another hospital."
"Do you have any idea where?" Nao asks, as Saga is quite in a state of shock.
"... The parents strictly ordered privacy. We cannot tell you where he is. We're so sorry." The nurse leaves, leaving Saga crying.
"I knew it... Tora's parents always hated me for being with their only son... And now, they finally found a way to break us apart... Damn... I didn't hurt nor kill anybody to deserve this pain..." Shou hugs Saga, as they find themselves walking out of the hospital.

"Saga... let's go home... We've been here almost everyday... He's not coming. He wont be here... We dont even know where he actually is now... Saga... you should move on and let him go..." Shou tells his friend who's already on his third cup of coffee already.
"Shou... we met here... maybe in the deepest part of his brain... of his memory... of his heart... he'll find his way back to me..."
"Saga... I think you should move on... There's life after Tora... You have your friends, you have us... If you want we can introduce you to some guys... As you said... you dont deserve this pain... you need to be happy now." Nao tells him, eating the 2nd cheesecake he had ordered.
"Guys... there's no life for me if he's not here with me... he is my sole reason for living... he is my life."
"Saga, tomorrow marks the first year of the accident, you waited long enough for him to come back..." Hiroto puffs the last of his cigarette and lights up another.
Saga sighs in silence, he looks out the window. He can no longer hear his friends' words clearly, they are now merely whispers echoing in his ears. He wonders if he should listen to them, maybe they're right.

Saga walks to the coffee shop, this time, alone. He didnt bother telling the others that he was coming back here, since he decided on himself that this will be the last time he'll go here. It's time to end the waiting. But for just one last time, he wants to check if he'll be there.
He was upset when he found a dark haired man sitting on their favorite table, he walks up to him.
"Excuse me sir, you're sitting on my seat."
"... I'm sorry, but I'm waiting for someone here..." the man removes his sunglasses, immediately, Saga's tears run down his cheeks, he wipes it off with his hand.
"... For some reason...I dont know who I'm waiting for... I just know... I have to be here today..."
Saga did not speak, he just kept crying . The man was just looking out the window, continuing his story.
"Hehe... It might sound weird but... I woke up this morning excited... Like... I've been longing to see this person I'm waiting for... I know when and where I'll go... I just dont know who..."
"You..."
"Yes?" The man looks up to Saga, waiting for him to speak.
"You...were waiting for me... It's me,Tora. Please... try to remember..." Saga wipes off his tears.
"You...?"
"Yes. Me. It's me. You left and I've ended the world before, my whole world just to wait for you... Tora... you're here now... please, please...say my name and tell me you remember even just that... "
"...I.. I don't..." Tora looks confused, staring at Saga who kept weeping like a little child, he kept quiet, he kept his cries to a whimper as to not disturb the rest of the coffee shop.
"I... I'm sorry. I dont think it's you I'm waiting for..."
"I'm sorry... for assuming it was me... I'm leaving now... enjoy your non-fat cappuccino and strawberry cheesecake..." Saga walks out of the coffee shop in a hurry, Tora looks down at his table, his coffee is empty and his food's already eaten, he wonders how the stranger knew of what he drank and ate.

Thanks for raining. Damn, can't I at least make a fast exit...?
Saga kept crying as he waited for the rain to stop under the coffee shop's roof. He wipes his face off with his hand but the tears kept falling. He lights up a cigarette when a hand pulls it out of his mouth.
"I hate it when you smoke without me."
Saga was speechless, he just stared at the man who took the cigarette out of his mouth.
"I'm sorry if I have forgotten about you, Saga."
Saga remained quiet, he just stared at Tora's eyes, whose hands wiped off the tears that are still falling on his face. Tora holds Saga's face close to him, smiling.
"Give me a smile Saga... You've been crying ever since I woke up... from the hospital... to here... smile for me hun..."
Saga just hugged Tora, overwhelmed to even smile for him, Tora brushes his hair with his hands, hugging him tighter, kissing the top of his head.
"Stupid... Don't leave me again. I swear, I wont forgive you." Saga's words were muffled as he had buried his face on Tora's shoulder who gave a small laughter.
"I wont, I promise not to. Let's go home, we have lots to catch up on."
