Corinne would be so proud of me. My mom has this consultant that made us brochures today. Well when reading over the product we paid for I noticed a dozen spelling and grammar mistakes. When I pointed this out to mom she contacted the lady who said “Well I’m not a good speller, that’s why I gave it to you to proof read. I tried to make the point to my mom that its not her job to check the spelling and grammar on the pamphlet. Proofreading on my moms behalf consists of reading the information to see if it says what she wants it to say. I think this woman should have to pay for our new order and hopefully mom doesn’t back down on it. The spelling mistakes were terrible to. The first line of our brochure reads: “A team of highly experienced and trained professionals who are committee (should be committed) to enchancing (sic, should be enhancing) the overall business effectiveness of it (should be its) clients”.
And trust me, there were many more.
