When my super cheap Asda DVD player finally gave up the ghost a few months ago, I thought I would spend a bit of extra money on a new player in the hope that it would last longer. last night, it froze and now refuses to play (every time I put a DVD in, it says 'No disc'). I can't find the guarantee, receipt or the relevant bank statement. Ho hum. Maybe I'll just pop to Asda tonight and buy another £20 player - at least my old one lasted for 3 years!
