OMG, Mas and I almost got chupacabra-ed last night! We were in the grocery store, in the produce section, picking out mini-oranges. Mas picked up a bag of oranges and I was like, "Oh, there's some white stuff on them." So Mas picked out a different bag and, as we're inspecting it, a cloud of green dust suddenly explodes from it! Seriously! We turned the bag over and one or two of the oranges on the bottom were covered with green mold. I was already freaking out that we might have accidentally breathed or swallowed some of that stuff, but the freak-out kicked into high gear when I actually saw the affected oranges because the mold on them looked exactly like the mold that turned people into chupacabras in the chupacabra episode of "X-Files." FOR REAL. Alhamdulillah, I think we're out of the danger zone now because that stuff acts really fast, and we're almost 24 hours chupacabra free at this point. Close call, though.
