My long absence
So, like, three weeks after I got back from SE Asia, Ismail returned the favor and abandoned me for two weeks to attend a short course in Brazil. I was cool with it until he got back and I saw all the pão de queijo he had access to- masha'Allah! That should have been me!!
Anyway, I took the opportunity, the last five days he was gone, to take a sweet sweet road trip with, masha'Allah, one of the most fun and awesome people I know. I added a new state! And alhamdulillah we stopped at every mosque we could find and went to the beach! Alhamdulillah, it was all kinds of fabulous.
But now I need to get serious about finding another job. Not super serious, because I'm just looking for something part-time, but I'm starting to realize I miss make, making the money. Though I certainly do not miss my old job. Ech!
