New Paramore Record? And Other Various Thoughts
I read an article a while back about "Artist that are overdue for a new music release" or something along the lines of that. Paramore was one of people on that list. I've commented on this subjet a while back in a post,but I wanted to share my opinion,and I want to know what you guys think too. For me I disagree that Paramore is due for a new album. It's not been an entire 2 years of them touring on the "Paramore" I feel at they can still do some more with this record. I feel like they could probably tour on it for another year and a half or so maybe. They can do some more things live with it,I'd love to see them mix up the setlist a little more,add some songs from the new album that they don't play a bunch,and also bring back some older songs too (if Hayley's voice is up to it) cause some of those older songs may be a problem for her.
I know in an interview they said the process for a new album is slow,they haven't written anything they're quite proud of yet.
I want them to take the time they need to really create an awesome record. Even if that takes another 2/3 years. I won't love the whole wainting period,but I feel if that's how long it takes for them to create something they can be proud of,and that the fans like it'll be worth the time.
There probably won't be a new record for a bit. Life is happening to the members. Hayley is engaged,and is getting married possibly by the end of this year (who knows) Jeremy has a family,and Taylor is doing what Taylor does.
The one thing I don't want Paramore to do is go off the grid,or fall off the face of the earth,and i'm pretty sure that won't happen,because they're very good with poking in on social media,and leting us know they haven't died or something lol.
I don't mind waiting on music to be made. What I don't like the idea of is waiting for music,and having the band go off the grid because that is pure torture for a fan sometimes. I think if Paramore don't release a new album within the next year or 2 i'd like to see them release something like the Singles Club. What are your guys thoughts on Paramore releasing a new album?,how long do you think you could wait before going crazy? And what would you like to see Paramore do next?
