[It was time to do something.
After days of listening to a radio that she had only picked up by mistake, hearing about violence and talk of kidnappings, it was a relief that at least Kairi met a few people who were as concerned as she was. These things didn't happen without a reason. And although it had been a long time since she traveled to other worlds, the idea wasn't new to her. She didn't know what it meant this time, yet somehow, they were still connected. If it was all linked with the other changes she'd seen, they had somewhere to start.
Kairi waited on the beach, watching a moon that was barely visible in the slowly fading daylight. Sora and Riku had their own ideas of what to do, ones they hadn't been sharing with her. In some ways it was their way of protecting her, yet as close as they all were, they were still shutting her out. The last she had seen of them, Sora had mentioned something about a gummi ship, and now the two of them were nowhere to be seen.
But she couldn't be pessimistic. The three of them could make it through anything, and Kairi wasn't going to wait for her chance to help. Someone had offered to take her to the mountain, where there had to be some answers. She trusted what Yuuki had said to her, even if they had just met, that Itachi would keep her safe on their way to the mountain. So she waited, out in the open where she'd be easy to find, hoping that she made the right choice.]
