Zero? You-

[a little surprised]

You're the last person I expected to see.

[ah. a warm, warm welcome.]

I could say the same. ...It's been years.

I just saw you yesterday.

It's -

[He's a bit startled. At the least, it confirms yet another difference. Sighs-]

I can explain that, but... [a beat] I have a feeling you aren't going to believe a word of it.

Would you like to know what I find difficult to believe?

The fact that a mountain mysteriously materialized from out of nowhere- and is currently ruining the view from my kitchen window.

If you have anything else to add to that...

By all means, I'm listening.

[Another sigh is followed by momentary silence. He's just collecting his thoughts. When he does begin, though, nothing about the way he speaks is in any way sarcastic. If Kaito doesn't want to believe him, or just laughs, it's not Zero's problem.]

Almost a year and a half ago I found myself in a city known as Nuadoria. Its location isn't known. I spent a year there before suddenly finding myself home again, to find that time hadn't passed at all. After a year went by, here, I found myself there, again. This is the first time I've been home in around six months, but...

[Pauses at that, the whole idea of this happening is confusing.]

- things aren't what they were like the first time I was sent home. Amongst other things, I still have contact with the others who were trapped in Nuadoria, as well, who claim they're back where they came from, as well.

[lets that nonsensical explanation shimmer in his brain for a minute]

Nuadoria.

[Yeah, thought so. ]

I know you don't believe me, but... There's a text file regarding it on the communication device you're using.

[silence

the feed shuts off, as he's downloading the guide and skimming through it]

[the feed clicks back on several minutes later. he's quiet for a moment, before taking a breath-]

Nuadoria exists in a place where time is non-linear, where death is not permanent, with the entirety of its 'non-native' population being unable to leave, and apparently has no economy of any kind...

Am I getting anything wrong so far?

[yeah he's being smart. you can tell. :|]
