What: A long overdue reunion \o/
Where: Somewhere in Healin'
When: Shortly after the start of the event.
[OOC: \o/ Guys I'm taking it that by the time the Turks manage to get their efficient posteriors down to the rendezvous point - (1) Reno has written The Report, and (2) all those dead people and their
moms have started making their presence felt.]
[ This isn't quite the homecoming he'd been expecting. Oh, it had been nice for about five minutes after he'd determined that it was Gaia and verified that it wasn't in a state of spontaneous armageddon (for once). Five blissful minutes, before the communicator had pinged in a way that signified it had new messages... and there's Imminent Armageddon again, leaning against the not-so-distant horizon and leering cheerfully at all and sundry.
[ He's the first at the rendezvous point, talking to some - several someones - who should be dead. Aerith. Hojo. Jenova. He wonders if he should even have opened up that last channel of communication, given that it serves as a potential way to bring the calamity's unwelcomed attention down on them or as a potential security leak, something traceable. But he doubt that it'll make much of a difference at this point - Kadaj is here, and what Kadaj knows Jenova knows. And Kadaj definitely knows about Healin Lodge.
[ There's so much going on, in fact, that he nearly missed the mountain range until Strife pointed it out. Nearly didn't think to ask the obvious questions -why were they sent back, bearing souveniers? He's returned before; and he's quite sure that the communicator didn't follow him that time, nor did that thing in the nightsky. There's barely a moment to breathe, what with everything happening, but he forces himself to slow down and consider the situation, even as he paces up and down the lodge's hard wooden floors.
[ This place is real; he's quite certain of that. He's not so sure that it's the same Gaia that he left, and he toys briefly with the idea of parallel universes. But that's not a particularly helpful line of inquiry right now - it doesn't change the fact that they are here, as is the President, as is the Calamity, with her strongest children. And Tseng has a sinking feeling that if they would like to survive this entire fiasco intact, they need to figure out this puzzle, and fast. ]
