Okay, I think my brain just broke. Either that, or whatever you said was so fucked up it just did not compute. I'm pushing for the latter as I actually need my brain. *laughs* Okay, so... I sorta get the whole split personalities thing? Is that what it is? I did a search on the two and found fanart and so... same people-ish? Like, why do they have to exist if they're never seen? Maybe some game designer's messing with all the players heads? (And maybe I need to stop rambling and go to sleep...)
Oh, and semi-randomly, I think I've found out why I enjoy reading stories in fandoms I have no clue about. You've heard of Maya in the HP fandom, right? Never read any of her fanfic. Never. Just couldn't get into it. But... somehow I sucked myself into reading an original fic of hers just now. And I loved it. And I figured out that fanfic in fandoms unknown to me are just about on the same level as original fic, except with some looming corporate overlord ready to swoop down and sue everybody for writing it.
Anywho, I came to this revelation just before I read your response to my comment and I was so, "OMG, it all makes sense now..." that I had to share. Probably when I wake up in the morning (or early afternoon) unsleepdeprived, I'll kick myself for rambling on forever here, but I honestly can't seem to stop. Help, please? Hopefully you've either been a tad diverted by what I'm saying or you just skimmed through the important bits (of which there is very little) and overlooked the rest of it (which is unfortunately most of the post). I can't seem to stop typing, so I'll just have to hit the
Well, ah, in KH canon there is a group of people known as "Nobodies", which includes Zexion and Demyx. They're people who have lost their hearts, but retained their basic personalities and form. However, Nobodies used to be normal people - hence, take the X out of their names and you have instant Somebodies. ^^ So Ienzo and Myde have to exist according to that context, but you only ever meet their Nobodies in canon.
I've heard of her, like, once. XD But that's a good way to approach it, really! As long as it isn't the kind of story where you're like "WTF" unless you know the canon background . . . .
Anyway. ♥ Glad you liked, and thank you for sharing~ Much love~
Oh, wow, that actually made so much sense! Thank you for taking the time to expain it to me.
As for Maya, well, the point of it is you have heard of her before and apparently she's incredibly popular with some people, but I just don't like her stuff. (Though now that I liked one story, I'm gonna have to give the others a try.) Anyway, she's supposed to be getting some of her own stuff published within a year, so more power to her and I'll probably read her books. :)
