Summary: Scarlet gets a rude wake-up call and finds herself not in the Prod Clod.
"Not that! This is the Prod Clod...?!" Scarlet called out in horror as she jerked awake down one of the darkened alleys within Edge. What the hell? Glancing around the back-alley, Scarlet brushed the long blonde bangs from her eyes as she tried to make sense of where she was. Wasn't she just inside the Prod Clod as it exploded?
There was a possibility that the explosion had knocked her far away from the original site, but as she glanced around her surroundings, Scarlet didn't think that was the case. First of all there weren't any injuries on her body, and second of all there weren't any scrap pieces of metal and smouldering flames off in the distance.
Damn that blonde and his useless companions! How dare they destroy one of her creations. She'll make them pay for that insult, and once she got back to ShinRa, she would build an even better weapon to jam down their throats. That would teach those fools!
Now all she had to do was figure out just where she was.
Pushing herself up took more effort than it should have, and Scarlet found herself stumbling a few steps towards the opposite wall. "Dammit!" Scarlet cursed softly as her usually pristine hair fell around her face in disarray. She knew she looked like a mess, and it only further irritated her.
Straightening out her posture, Scarlet reached down between her breasts before pulling out her cellphone from her hidden location. Flipping it open, she was at least pleased to see that it hadn't been damaged in the explosion. Scarlet placed the phone up against her ear after selecting Heidegger's number. Her foot began to tap in impatience as she waited for it to connect. Where was that useless tub-of-lard? Surely he had enough body mass to protect him from that explosion if she had survived?
I'm sorry, but this number is no longer in service. Please check your numb--
Scarlet glared at her phone before moving to step out into one of the main streets. She bet that useless dolt's phone probably got wedged up his ass during the explosion and couldn't get reception. Scarlet's thoughts froze in her thoughts; however, as she was finally greeted with a part of Midgar she didn't recognise. "What. The. Hell?"
