Summary: Rufus runs into Tseng, whose insecurities have flared up in response to Veld's arrival.
It had been a bit of a long day, and by the time Rufus left his office the light was fading from the sky. Dark Nation had fallen asleep in the corner of the room, waking only when Rufus called him. The animal yawned and skittered to his feet, following his master out the door.
Though Rufus could have easily walked back to his apartment in only a couple minutes, the route he chose to take was a bit of a circuitous one. He had always enjoyed just walking on occasion, and after having spent a while confined largely to a wheelchair, he couldn't help but develop a particular fondness for doing so. Having Dark Nation following at his heels only served to make him feel more secure in wandering through the twilight on his own.
A quiet, alert noise and an intent look forward from his animal companion brought the other presence in the area to his attention as his feet took him into the garden; he'd at first missed spotting the man in the low light.
"Hn." He took a few steps forward, nodding his head to the Turk in greeting.
"Good evening, Tseng."
