"Really?" he almost seemed to sport and amused look on his face, "I recall the fear in your eyes, and the pained screams," he stopped, looking off towards the direction. He would go there.

That seemed to be smart. She wasn't going to comply obviously, but he wasn't going to let her go so easily either, "Perhaps...I should find your partner?" he added with a dark tone. He would surely do that if he had any desire to. Right now, it was more important to worry about Sephiroth, the man who supposedly knew a lot more than he did.

He made no comment to that as he started to walk again, this time towards the direction of where Sephiroth was, but that didn't stop him from letting the girl down and restraining her arms from behind with his weaponless arm and shoving her forward with the butt of his gunblade. She was not going anywhere. She was going to stay in his view and that was all there was to it. At least right now. He hoped he wasn't taking too much time. The woman was stubborn as always, and will never change.

It was getting annoying to even converse with her. Much less not break her limbs. Oh how he disliked this woman.

Elena couldn't supress the shudder, her hands losening around his wrists. All this time she had thought his memories were faltered. He hadn't remembered her upon their first meeting, so she hadn't given it a thought that he might have regained them during the time from their last encounter. But it was more than apparent that he remembered now.

"I..."

That was a low blow. She knew it and he knew it. And, Shiva help it, it was the last straw that broke her resistance. It was one thing to threaten her, to attack and hurt her, but the thought of him hurting Tseng again...

She didn't put up a fight any longer, letting him pin her arms behind her and push her back into the laboratory. Her mouth pursed into an angry and frustrated scowl, eyes focused on the floor in front of her. This was humiliating. She wanted nothing more than to turn around and beat him until he was nothing more than a pile of flesh, bone and blood on the floor that needed to be mopped up. But with herself outnumbered and overpowered, she had to do what was best for her and her situation. And, if that meant being forced back underground until she could call in for reinforcements, so be it.

Oh, but how she hated him. Hated him with every fiber of her being.

Having waited a pace away from the door, Sephiroth was not surprised at all to see Yazoo herd the Turk back into the basement rooms. His eyes were narrowed dangerously despite that it appeared he was still clutching where Elena had punched him moments earlier.

All bloodied ripped leather and flesh Sephiroth approached the Turk once more as she stood silently with her eyes on the floor. He allowed a split second for her to perhaps register that he was back on his feet and not exactly pleased before he swung a vicious backhand right for her face with enough strength to force her down and to one side. Anger gives even the weakened strength it seems.

"Don't do that again. I promise you the next one will take your head off" Sephiroth spat down at Elena after she had finished moving with the momentum of his strike. He side-glanced at Yazoo and offered a small smile hoping to get across to him that all the injuries were not as bad as they look.

So how far would they have to go before they came across Sephiroth? A few feet? A few yards? And what would happen when Yazoo found Sephiroth, saw the damag she had done? Would he break her arms behind her back or stab and slice her with his gunblade?

Things stopped, the grey of the laboratory floor sparce of anything but dust and grim. That is, until a pair of leather boots came into her field of vision. And, feeling the tight grip of Yazoo's hand behind her, it could only mean one thing. Oh....fuck...

Her eyes lifted first, moving up ripped leather legs, over a familiar bare chest riddled with scars and wounds, to a very-very-very angry Sephiroth. She had less than half a second before there was an explosion of pain erupting on the right side of her face. Her body reeled and if Yazoo had not been holding her upright she would have fallen to the floor. The bitter taste of blood filled her mouth, spilling out the corner of her mouth. She was more than sure that, by the way her cheek burned and seared with heat, that it would turn a painful shade of red before bruising.

Spitting out the extra blood in her mouth, Elena winced. Even moving the muscles of her mouth, forcing the skin of her cheek to tighten, hurt. Oh yeah, her day was just getting better and better. After her head stopped reeling, Elena straighened her back, nearly falling back against Yazoo.

"Don't do me any favors..." she muttered under her breath.

At least he shut her mouth with his words. She seemingly had given up struggle this time. It was better than expected, her response. It seemed herpartner was very importnat to her. He still would promise that Elena's partner would be okay even if she did comply.

Upon reaching the room after a long stroll, he caught the glimpse of Sephiroth approaching the two of them, ripped clothes and various of injuries lined his body. They seemed rather horrible. AT least enough for him to slightly narrow his eyes. The thing he was didn't expect coming was when there was a loud sound and Elena was backhanded by the taller man almost making him lose hold of her when she smacked. It must pretty much hurt. Though, he didn't seem to care.

Though, he did question silently what had happened. So, this woman was with Sephiroth before she was running for her life. Well, great, at least now she had nowhere to run. He tightened the grip on her arms, out of a bit of anger, that started to boil, but he did slowly calm down as Sephiroth sent his silent message.

He shoved her forward almost towards the ground as she almost fell against his form. He would surely hope she was trying anything any day soon. Hell, if she did, it wouldn't be pleasant either. He parted his lips to question Sephiroth on his injuries, plus the question to what she did to him that caused the male to become so angered or a moment.

"What has happened, and what did this woman do to you brother?" he mused, his eyes faintly glowing.

Elena's muttering was like the poker to the fire, enflaming it more; making Sephiroth more angry. If she had something to say to him she should say it loud enough so that he could hear it.

He'd already contemplated a secondary blow but moments before he sought to deliver it Yazoo's voice asked the inevitable questions. Sephiroth paused. A wave of adrenaline reeled behind his eyes in response to the charged movement seconds before. It hadn't hurt at all to hit her, but as a result his entire arm with all of it's muscles and tendons seemed to be aching, arguing back at him. There was a pulse of pain from the near-destroyed shoulder joint but it was contained behind Sephiroth's facade. It would be foolish indeed to show any weakness in the face of the blow he'd just delivered to the Turk.

"She tried her luck, came snooping around in here and stupidly decided to wind me in order to get away. Most likely to bring the entire world down on our heads brother..." Sephiroth was of course referring to Elena's actions rather than not revealing how he'd recieved such injuries in the first place.

Teeth grit together against the new pain that made itself known behind her. Gods, he already had her arms twisted behind her back. When Sephiroth had hit her and forced her body to turn, her shoulders and elbows screamed in protest of the awkward movement. And now, through the layers of her clothes, she could feel the increased pressure of Yazoo's hand on her wrists. She was, at the very least, thankful that she couldn't feel the leather of his gloves against her skin.

Why couldn't the realization of the gravity of her situation settle in her brain? She was snapping back, egging them on to hurt her, when she could just keep her little mouth shut. Granted, Elena knew that there was a good chance that she would be smacked around whether she spoke or not. But her haughty attitude and inability - no, it wasn't that she was unable, she chose not to - remain silent seemed to come from a desperate part of her. It was a rebellious part that fought against the fear and panic that threatened to overtake her if she let it. She needed to feel in control of both herself and the situation, else she was sure that she could slip back into the frightened, overly-cautious woman she'd been years ago. And Elena refused to let herself be that weak ever again.

Honey-colored eyes narrowed on the infamous SOLDIER, mouth tightening into a near invisible line. There was no way he was that quickly recovered from either her punch or all his injuries. She could almost admire the strength and training it took to master such a facade. Almost. Good mask there, Seph. Too bad I know better.

His eyes did not ease out, only narrowed even more. So his assumptions were right. She had business here, and it was something to do with Sephiroth. Well, he didn't like people lying to him, much less a female Turk. When he released his grip on her, and shoved her, he rested his hands at his side, his gunblade rested at his waist now. Both his hands were free to do any damage to her if she tried anything stupid like that again.

"So, the woman lies," A flat statement by the remnant as he stepped forward a bit. He somewhat got what the male meant when he said those words, and it was understandable to him. It as pretty bloody obvious by now.

He looked back at Sephiroth. He was in pain, and the male could tell, even if the other didn't look it. Of course, adding more pain to him was not a likable thing to Yazoo. Elena would be taught a lesson soon enough. A small idea started to flow through his head. He couldn't trust her to do anything at all in the first place, but she would if he used that threat against her again. The male had a small smirk placed on his lips.

"The woman should fix what she damaged, don't you think, brother?" he mused. OF course, she wasn't going to stop just the pain. He was certain she could much more with her abilities, "Unless, she wants something... unpleasant happening to her partner".

Sephiroth stopped at Yazoo's suggestion, seeming to settle back into himself with his right arm clutching his left elbow in a way that almost looked as if he were hugging himself. Or rather holding his insides still since he was simply too empty to be sick.

Sephiroth looked over Yazoo questioningly, then over Elena again and as the idea caught on a small smile seemed to crack the anger which had surfaced at Elena to start with.

"That's how the world works, isn't it brother." It was more a statement than a question "You have to repair whatever you break...provided she doesn't...complicate things..."

Oh, blessed freedom, how sweet it tasted. Of course, any small fraction of freedom, such as being released from the Remnant's grip, was cherished for even the smallest of seconds that it lasted. He had been touching her. Even through the layers of her jacket and shirt, his hands had been on her and she could feel the fire that erupted from her flesh at the touch. It had taken months for the nightmares, the feeling of leather-wrapped hands assaulting, tearing, pulling and hitting, and the pain that seared through every healing scar, to settled into the darker recesses of her mind. It was another dozen or so weeks after that before she would allow anybody with gloved hands to touch her. Poor Rude, he had suffered the worst because he wore protective gloves. Elena still hadn't fully gotten over the guilt of treating him so unfairly.

Caught between the silver-haired men, Elena was trapped. While she could potentially knock Sephiroth back again, Yazoo was keeping her body still enough that, though she shifted so that her back was to the nearest bookcase, both men now in easier sight than having one behind her and one in front of her, she would not attack. For now.

"Unless, she wants something...unpleasant to happen to her partner."

Oh, so you remember now, don't you? A bloodied, beaten Tseng passed across her mind's eye and she visibly shuddered. So he was going to play the game with low blows. Very, very low blows, in fact. Her eyes narrowed threateningly, shifting to Yazoo. If she could speak, and speak freely without any repercussions, she had long and lovely list of pain-filled, torture-packed activities that she would most lovingly perform on the Remnant. Oh, but if she was only given the opportunity. "You leave him out of this," she hissed, her voice low and menacing.

Her attention slowly moving away from Yazoo and back to swordsman. The threatening look, used only for the Remnant, was replaced with a look of indifference. "You should ask a lady to help you, instead of demand it. Its rude."

Yazoo's blows would hit her hard enough. She wouldn't do anything, not right now, because he had the upper hand. He knew exactly where to look for the man that worked with Elena, her partner. It was a sensitive subject to her and he was pleased with the reactions he got from her. Of course the woman deserved every last bit of hostility he had to offer to her. No friendliness, no kindness. He had a lot to pay her back for, why not start with the person closest to her?

Well, the closest to her he had met, though he still knew that there were countless others that worked in the same division. If he threatened them, pained them, she would probably want to hurt him with all her strength, yet, it seemed all the more pleasing to him if she did go insane.

"Yes brother, that is how it works... She doesn't care for the pain inflicted on her... but perhaps someone that has an important meaning to her..." he trailed off, a dark sneer plastered on his face as he stepped forward at her small hissing. Of course, he wouldn't leave Tseng out of this. The man was the person he was probably going to be looking for later, anyhow.

"I'm afraid that cannot be done," he replied, a simple glow of his liquid eyes could tell that he was not lying in any way, "Either you do it, or I'll tie you up and find him... perhaps you want company?" he added. He liked every little reaction she gave, the sudden shudder was very amusing. The remnant stopped speaking after this as he listened to her speak again. There wasn't any way he would ask nicely... not now, not ever.

"Now now Yazoo" Sephiroth mock-warned the Remnant, glowing eyes flashed over Elena once more before he took a step back and the edge of a desk was used to lean against. He drew his tattered arms up and folded them across his chest; hiding away the large gashes across his torso but stretching the small ones on his arms visible through the rips in the leather coat. They stung like hell, but it seemed that Elena's help would be their only choice. Sephiroth surely could not see around the back of himself much less tend to open wounds there and Yazoo, well the purpose of the Remnants had not ever been first aid.

"Don't go getting the poor lady's hopes up. We will find all of them sooner rather than later...it's up to her whether she stays alive enough to see it" Sephiroth's tone was far darker than anything Yazoo could have spoken like, more of a promise rather than a threat.
