The remnant remained motionless as he waited for his answers, his green hues fixed on the darkness, hopefully seeing someone int he darkness as he could barely see himself. The light of the room didn't help much. Yet, the person did not reveal themselves yet. The male slowly continued to toss a few things aside in search for his objective. He wondered briefly where Loz had vanished too. The other remnant was nowhere near him, so he didn't seem to be too worried, but he was curious where the other went. He stopped again to look. Was that person nearby? Yes, they were and he could feel the other's presence easily.

Why have you come? he mused again, his flat voice echoing to the man. He wasn't sure what the other was planning being here, but he remained quiet about it and slowly rose. He had not seen Sephiroth once, since their meeting when he was encased. That image was a flat blur in his mind too. He could remember the same colour hair and eyes. His slitted green hues fixed on the approaching silhouette, waiting for the other to show his face. He wanted to see, who this brother, the one that had been pulling the strings, and the one that was closest to Mother, looked like.

The male's eyes remained expressionless, and no flame flickered through them. He shifted himself to face the silhouette. He was about to see what he was thinking about. The true appearance of the voice in his head.

The darkness gave way shadow by shadow as the figure approached his younger brother. Smudged edges turned into definite features; a full head of silver hair which poured down his back like an ominous cloak, silver pauldrons gleaming even in the gloom. Green orbs appeared even more illuminated in this light as Sephiroth came to a complete stop just three paces from where Yazoo had been searching.

It seemed a breeze came out of no where to rustle the hem of the long leather coat, Sephiroth tilted his head ever so slightly in looking down at the Remnant and the same breeze swayed his hair hypnotically in flashes of the smoothest silver. There was no need for this telepathic talk any longer.

"Mother would have wanted me to come..."

His voice...

His voice drew, an invisible thread pulling taunt and bringing all of them closer. His voice, and Mother's will...those seemed more important than anything else, at this point.

He could hear them talked, and wandering forth into that dim light, eager to see his eldest "brother" at last, to see the voice in his head that had began all of this. Mako-green eyes shifted from the back of Yazoo's head to Sephiroth as he approached behind the slender remnant. His brow furrowed.

"Mother...?"

He rose from his standing, and glanced at the male as well. The whole head of silvery white tresses, longer than his own, perhaps two or three times longer than his silvery white mane, but it was definitely obvious that this one was Sephiroth. The feeling about the stranger that approached was familiar, and the image was clear in his head once more. This was the second time he had seen the silver haired man, tall and proud, not trapped in the crystalline substance from back at the crater.

The man dressed in the similar attire to the remnants, only his was more defined, abstract and clearly showed him out of the two males. His eyes turned briefly to Loz as the other approached from the back, his eyes fixed on the youngest before he turned towards Sephiroth, his voice was clear this time, and definitely not in his head. He nodded his head.

"Yes," he replied in a monotone. He had to agree. It would be truthful. Mother was always thinking of them right? Though, where she was now, left the remnants and even Sephiroth in a turmoil. He turned back to his task and knelt down again, seeking whatever else he could from the pile f stuff he had pulled out. Yet, he found nothing useful yet again. What a waste, but perhaps with Sephiroth here, they could find what they were searching for.

Sephiroth regarded Loz with a quick glance and was formulating an answer to his desperate plea when Yazoo turned to reply to Sephiroth's last comment.

It all felt very strange, he could almost see himself reflected in each of them but at the same time the differences between them where very plain to see. Yazoo with his long tresses and silent demeanor, Loz with his large build but seemed somewhat lacking in- hey was that a flaw?. Sephiroth didn't think so, these in front of him were two out of three parts of himself; that much he understood. Nothing could be flawed, just like with Mother.

A small amount of pressure built up behind Sephiroth's brow as perhaps the gravity of this reunion offered some clarity. A missing memory indeed was how the split intothree had been orchestrated, it tingled at the front of Sephiroth's brain now. A great deal of willpower controlled it, as weakness could not be tolerated.

Green gaze rested on Yazoo once more before Sephiroth offered a small smile and turned his attention away from the two of them. Why should those so close require introductions, the idea seemed absurd; like how a child would introduce their hand sock-puppets during play. There was a need of more light in here and it seemed Sephiroth was searching with his eyes how to make this search for Mako easier.

Loz lacks nothing! Alright, the boy might be a bit simple, but thinking isn't his responsibility. So far, he's been trusting of those who comprise what he can only describe as missing pieces of himself, and so far he's done as he was asked without question. His was loyalty, and strength, not genius or leadership.

That much could be left to the figure in front of them.

Still, their search had been discouraging thus far, and he glanced back towards Yazoo as they resumed poking around in this dim light and dust-covered artifacts. His impatience showed clearly on his face as both seemed content to return to shifting various things around, but with a heavy sigh he followed suit.

"Thought we would have found something by now..."

The remnant remained muted for now, searching through the remains of everything that was near him. He kicked them briefly when he was done, shoving them back to where they were found. He almost glowered at them, finding nothing but useless junk that the three of them could have no use for. He looked back at Sephiroth's form as the man curved a small smile. He glanced once over before he continued to look around for something worth while.

OF course, he found hardly anything. HE had to agree with Loz. They should've found something by now, but apparently not so much. He remained quiet, but nodded to Loz's comment when he spoke of it. He was growing just a slight bit agitated with this search. He surely wanted to find some more useful things, but they weren't any help at all. He found nothing worth his while. Everything had been repetitive because of the boxes were not marked and knowing it was there somewhere was a bit tiring as well.

He would probably break something soon if he couldn't find his answers. He surely hoped he did, however. So where were these damn orbs? He kicked another useless box aside as he looked at another area.

Sephiroth had half turned back around to the door by the time Loz spoke. He paused and looked over his shoulder back at the Remnant; should he be angry that a part of him is complaining about their current task? Or should he be quite happy with the fact that - if it had been him searching this long without luck then he might be just as irritated as the two Remnants were.

All good things come to those who wait Was the thought fired at Loz directly just before Sephiroth replied to him verbally

"There has to be at least some clue around here where we should be looking. If there isn't already Mako around here. They did a lot of....experiments in this basement a long time ago. And as you can see it's not exactly been cordoned off." Sephiroth's thoughts danced again to the Reactor in the Mountain. Makonoids would be pretty highly concentrated in the stuff...maybe...but if they could find some here then there would be no need to revisit that place.

With a small glance again to Yazoo, Sephiroth turned back to the doorway he entered through.

TIme to find some light source... Before he started to pace back down the corridor he came from, headed for the doorway and connecting corridors back to the stairwell.

So now they were supposed to be looking for clues, as well? What if they had already passed by something that might be a clue, already? Still, there was no sense in giving up now. Sephiroth seemed convinced that what they needed was here, and if he had to move every scrap, every crumbling stone, every abandoned box, then he would do so.

It at least gave him the feeling of progress, so long as they weren't going over the same things over and over again. Move this here. Open this. Kick this aside. It beat just sitting around and thinking.

The dim lit room was enough to handicap his vision, but the long haired remnant remained standing tall as he was, not accepting the fact that he could barely see. He searched for another box. Finding another box sitting in the corner, he carefully moved over to it. The male looked it over once and then sent it back where it was. Nothing. There was absolutely nothing. Well, at least Sephiroth was finding their light source. IT was a lot better than nothing at all. He was certain they were here. Of course, the male didn't really pay much attention to the boxes anymore. They were utterly useless by now.

HE was searching for a path of sort, a door that he could go to that he could use. The remnant walked deeper into the room, shrouded by the darkness as he approached the dimly lit area. It seemed as though he could barely see anything. He allowed his eyes to somewhat adjust to the darkness, but it didn't assist him as much as he wanted.

Sephiroth left the Remnants alone in the basement whilst he went on the search for light. Back upstairs in the ShinRa Manor itself there were a wide variety of lights which could be brought down into the basement. Desk lamps, bedside lamps, candles; all would be in need of gentle persuasion in order to illuminate the gloom downstairs but short of torching the whole place it might be the only way to actually see what they were looking at down there. How Loz and Yazoo had managed to get by in that near darkness so far was mindboggling.

Torching the whole place down, now there's a thought. I wonder if they would rebuild it at all, or allow everything done here to be scattered as the ashes would be Something in the pit of Sephiroth's being screamed at him to carry through with that thought; that the Manor itself surely shouldn't have been spared of the inferno before. It seemed unfinished, especially since the books which had uncovered his truths had been wrong about Mother. Sephiroth knew that now; this knowledge just furthered cracks in the already shattered reality which had been the crux of the whole incident.

Too much knowledge, I wonder if there is such a thing as knowing too much? Sephiroth dismissed the following thought out of hand as he gathered up three small oil lamps from what seemed to be an old study room and headed back to the Remnants. Knowledge was very much the route to power, that was why the Ancient's knowledge had been so important. Especially in discovering the Black Materia and the perfect theory which would have claimed the world for Mother. Almost worked. Sephiroth had seen himself the ruins of Midgar and didn't have to guess how close he had been to achieving that goal. It left a stale taste in his mouth, but the point was there is no end to knowledge which could be aquired.

Upon his arrival back in the basement a few moments later Sephiroth set about lighting these old lamps. In the gloom it was difficult to see anything but soon a dull orange-y glow began to emanate from the first one.
