Summary: Aerith arrives at Seventh Heaven, meeting with all her old friend.
Walking through the street, Aerith admired the appearance of the buildings. Although many buildings were clearly still under construction, the city of Edge seemed as if it would one day be a flourishing city.
That is if Shinra doesn't mess things up.
Although from what she had heard, WRO seemed to be a more powerful force. They were the leading force in the reconstruction of what had been destroyed and the new protectors of the Planet. Aerith did not know all the details in regard to what exactly happened to the Planet. She heard bits and details while staying at the inn but not everything.
She had promised Cloud that she would visit Seventh Heaven. As she walked, Aerith realized how much she had been looking forward to seeing Tifa again. Aerith still remembered the conditions in which they first met and looked forward to talking to her friend. At this, she gave a soft chuckle.
Something continued to bother Aerith. She knew that Cloud probably wasn't able to understand her message from the response that she received. Her calls didn't seem to go through very well and so it would be best to meet him in person to prove that she's alright.
Across the street, Aerith saw a group of children, all of whom were kneeling down in a circle, seemingly in the midst of some discussion. As she walked, she was able to see glimpses of some of their faces and recognized them. One or two of them had lived in the same Sector as her some years ago. Although they didn't notice her, Aerith still smiled. They had grown up so much in her absence.
A twinge of sadness took over her. She had missed so much - all the happenings - the troubles that her friends had faced. She wished she had been there for them to offer comfort, to help them through the difficult times they suffered which was evident from the status, or rather the remains of Midgar.
Pushing away the thoughts, Aerith stopped and looked up. The sign on the building said "7th Heaven." Undoubtedly she felt nervous and a bit uneasy. Things had changed in the time she was gone. How much things had changed was what worried her. Taking a deep breath, Aerith opened the door and walked in.
