It was already a tense and stressful situation. Tab and Luke didn't want to make the situation worse and it was unlikely the staff were going to let them all into Pat's room while he was still out to it. They would wait, though. They all would, no doubt. But Tab and Luke slipped away briefly to head to the cafeteria for a coffee. They tried to coax Riley and Evie away, too, but Riley wasn't having a bar of it. "Fuck," Luke murmured in disbelief when the elevator doors closed behind them for the trip down five stories. "He was okay on the plane."
