Ali pushed up and kissed his forehead, then his cheeks, before she finally reached his lips. "I've been really unfair," she had to admit quietly. "In my own pain and fear and hurt, I've made Mark out to be a horrible person. He's not. He was a big part of my life for a long time, and he hurt me extensively. We hurt each other. It just got to the point that we were so similiar, we clashed, and it was horrible, between us. I still am so angry that he walked away from Sunshine. I didn't care that he walked away from me. There was no way I could ever be in love with him again after what he did, but I had hoped he would still want to know her. None of us ever expected something like James leaving us to happen. I don't think any of us dealt with it well and we're still paying for it. But Jamie shouldn't have been caught in the crossfire, and it was you who ran in and protected her from that. Mark's not a bad person. He's actually a wonderful man, and a wonderful, caring, protective big brother to James. I need him to see her and see that she needs you. That I need you. I'm hoping he'll find it in his heart to give me that much after everything."

Andrew let out a breath he hadn't realised he was holding. He rested his head against hers, taking a few moments to process her words. "How about New Year's Day?" he finally said with a smile. "Six months away, new year, new start."

Ali broke into a grin and nodded. "That's perfect," she decided with a nod. "New Year's Day. We can have a sexy winter wedding. Sunshine can be dressed as a snow angel," she laughed. "And will kill me when she's old enough to be embarrassed by it forever portrayed in our wedding photos on the mantel." She pulled him down on top of her. "I love you. You and your endless ways of making me grin like a school girl with a crush on the high school quarterback. You with your gorgeous arse that never fails to get me hot in all the right places," she added, sweeping her hands down his back to cup his butt and pull him closer.

Andrew finally laughed and caught her lips in a kiss. "And you, who really knows how to stroke a guy's ego in all the right places. With your gorgeous body that is going to kill me from anticipation one day."

"Gorgeous body, huh? You know, I wore my pre-pregnant jeans the other day? And they fit. No interest squishy overflow over the top, either," Ali told him with a triumphant grin, hooking her legs around his and pushing up against him to create some friction between them. She could more than feel his 'anticipation' rubbing against her and she licked her lips eagerly.

"Hey, I like your cuddly bits. You better not lose them all. I still need a hot water bottle at night who steals my covers, starfishes across me, and farts on me at night," Andrew teased and kissed down her throat to her chest, nuzzling her breasts and trailing his tongue teasingly across the soft skin.

Ali smirked mischievously. "As if you aren't learning to get me back, Connor," she laughed and exhaled heavily at the feeling of his lips against her skin. "Are you going to lose the boxers, or do I have to tear them off with my teeth? Think Sunshine is good for about twenty minutes?"

"I have the best teacher," Andrew threw back with a small growl of arousal. He had to pull back long enough to scramble out of his boxers. "Twenty minutes? Feeling optimistic?" he joked, settling between her legs to suck softly on her earlobe.

"Maybe I just want two simultaneous quickies?" Ali suggested, turning her head a little to encourage his ministrations. She moaned softly, wetting her lips. "Are you going to make me beg?" she laughed breathlessly.

Andrew smirked against her ear and kissed back up her jaw. "Maybe later," he said cheekily and caught her lips in a deep, heated kiss.
