I think Maia and I have one of the craziest history classes. No one really pays attention, so when Dr. Kerin asks a question, six people raise their hands afterword and ask the question she JUST talked about. I actually think it is one of the most interesting classes I've taken at BCC.
So, Kathleen Hall fell asleep in class today while we were reading outloud (which is meant to prevent people from falling alseep). Maia and I were feeling mean, so when Maia got the "reading priviledge," she passed it to Kathleen. However, after she said "I give this to Kathleen. ............ Kathleen....." there was silence. Maia kept saying "Kathleen" and then Dr. Kerin told her to wake Kathleen up! So Maia started poking her. She kind of jolted awake and said, "uuhh, yeah." Maia and I whispered, "It's your turn to read, you have to read, come on...." So she picks up the first piece of paper she sees on her desk and starts reading. Maia says, "No, Kathleen, that's the wrong article." So she picks up another piece of paper and starts reading. "No Kathleen, that's the wrong paragraph." She finally gets it right. When she finishes a few sentences, she passes it to someone else, curses at Maia, and goes back to sleep!! Maia and I were about to die. You kind of had to be there, but if you know Kathleen, I think you can picture the scene. Oh, it was beautiful. Even Dr. Kerin was laughing.
