anita klein icons credit
Someone charmed me utterly the other day by saying that Anita Klein's work reminded them of me. I'm not sure if I actually look much like this, but I feel a lot like the women in some of these paintings (especially those with a lone figure/a figure in nature), and I really like the smooth lines and bold colour, so I have made I have lots of new Anita Klein icons- I hope Klein doesn't mind! I shall make sure to credit her on my user info also. (Hmm, I wonder if I should write to her and ask permission, or if linking to her lots is enough?)
I also hope the charming person in question doesn't mind my taking a compliment and running with it somewhat, but to see bits of how it feels to be me/bits of how I sometimes see/experience myself in pictures like this was very moving, and felt like a gift, one that I wanted to make active use of.
