BAH UNTO HEAVY STUFF AND STAIRS

Before I get to the weekend, I'll go over something interesting from friday. I never mentioned it before, but there's been a paper airplane trend on my work team, the last couple of weeks. I randomly tossed one at my team leader Marcus(who is in his thirties), who in turn tossed it at our supervisor(about the same age as the T.L.). Since then, the three of us have done that every so often. Friday was really the climax though. Will(the sup) went on lunch for an hour, and my mind was full of mischief. I spent all my free time between calls making about 14 paper planes. When I was done, I logged out for a minute and stuck them all over Will's desk. Three stuck in his keyboard, two in his potted plants, some in the chair, others in random places. He came back, saw them and was very amused. I thought that would be it, but I was terribly wrong. Five minutes later, Will starts rapidly launching them at Marcus, who in turn threw them back. It turned into a two on two war, except some of their planes missed the target, and flew at other members of our team. They began throwing them at Marcus and Will, as well as people from other teams. Those people in turn threw them back at our team. Within ten minutes or so, it had turned into an all out melee. I was making more of them as fast as I could, throwing them at anyone and everyone. Someone commented on how weird it all seemed, to which Will replied "Todd started it". He then said to me "You make great paper airplanes, Todd". The whole thing was very amusing to me. I mean, the people that work where I do come from all age groups. Which means that even a couple of elderly people were participating in this. Even the higher ups were as immature as the rest of us...nice to know management there isn't uptight.

So I helped Lisa and her family move, this weekend. Her father has his own home business, so there was a ton of heavy office pieces, such as metal file cabinets, desks and such. On top of that, his office was in the basement, so we had to lug all that stuff up a flight of stairs. His office will be in the basement of the new house too, so we had a grand time risking death by sliding them down more stairs. I volunteered to help with it months ago, because her father is close to sixty years old, and her brother's heart doesn't handle alot of physical exertion well, due to prescription medication he takes. So I was there from noon to 11 at night on Saturday, then noon to 3 in the morning Sunday. For anyone who tried calling me during any of those times, that's where I was.
I feel fine now, but yesterday was the day my body was in recuperation mode. My muscles weren't terribly sore, but the palms of my hands took it alot worse. They were so sore, that even lukewarm water in the shower made them go @%^*@^&#@&*!! In other words, it burned.

Two things I wish to pimp:
New entry in Amber's novella, "A Tremor in Utopia"

My little sister Cris(aka Riku-chan), now has a livejournal. You'll easily recognize her name from my friends list, as it is not any of the ones which has been there for months
