I can't wait to go back to school. I think this officially marks the first time that I've ever said that. I feel like I've taken the first step by deciding to go back, now I just have to stick to my guns and actually do well.
My plan (subject to change) as of now is to go back to Ohlone in the Spring and do well enough that my parents will agree to fund me going to a junior college somewhere else. Ideally, that JC would be college of the Redwoods in Eureka, up North in Humboldt County. I want to live in Arcata, where Humboldt State is, and hopefully have a car with me so I can commute the fifteen minutes to school and back.
This situation would be perfect. Humboldt County, otherwise known as the weed capitol of North America, is the shit, and is the perfect place for me to be for three or four years while I ponder the rest of my life. If i had a car, I could rent a room in Arcata for as little as 300 dollars a month (which my parents would hopefully pay for) and commute back and forth about fifteen minutes to Eureka ando CR. Gas is expensive up North, but I pretty much would only need to drive back and forth between Eureka and Arcata, so I don't really give a fuck.
Assuming it all works out, I could transfer hassle-free to Humboldt State after a couple of years and major in journalism. HSU is one of the best CSU's in California for journalism and liberal arts in general.
