this of course is all staged to look real...with the same flair as professional wrestling at it's height...using skilled fight choreographers from the best kung fu and science fiction movies (matrix, fist of legend)...what "survivor" would be if it incorporated a secret society style within a hidden/lost/ancient city setting...perhaps a secret societies could each have their own luxury river boats and champions which they drop off at an abandoned city like new york or los angeles...
the future atlantis: melting of the polar icecaps...
when the cities on the coasts were flooded...they were abandoned by the population that lived there...looted by modern day pirates (naval officers who had been left out of the plan to evacuate to outerspace) who eventually took them over and set up their own society outside the laws... buildings were pumped out and sealed up to allow them to reach the important subterranean floors which maintained the interior environment of the buildings...while also allowing them to connect beneath the surface via the underground tunnels beneath the buildings...
like atlantis before them...these underground/underwater societies were able to survive the apocalyptic changes that were occurring on the surface of the planet...
