Relevance
There is a spider web inside my windshield. It's in the bottom left corner, connected to the dashboard. I first saw it a couple weeks ago. You can only see it when the light hits it just right. It started small, and slowly it grows outward, beginning to cloud my view, when the light hits it just right. It would only take me a moment to tear down. Just a swipe and it would be gone. But I don't touch it. I'm not sure why. Last night, for the first time, when I was on my way home, a moth was caught in it. It was dark out, so I couldn't see the web, but I knew it was there just the same. I watched the moth flutter and try to escape, then I looked up and didn't look at it again. Someday I'll clean it off. But for now, it stays.
