(no subject)
It surprises me that most of you still even have me on your list. It's been over a month since I last posted anything, and probably about as long since I've bothered to comment either. However, I have still been reading...just haven't felt up to contributing.
A lot of things have been happening I guess, they've been working on breaking me out of my anti-social/shy shell here. I've started going to the bars 2 days a week or so. Very limited alcohol intake, still just don't care for it too much. Although I have found a fondness for black cherry Smirnoff. And one of my favorite drag queens keeps slipping me jager in some form or another. She's a tricky one. I have fun watching the shows, and while I'm not overkeen on coming home smelling like smoke, I'm still rather immune to the smell from my early days. I've got a life to live...and I'm working on living it.
This weekend, well hell tomorrow after work signals the beginning of a long overdue vacation. I will be on vacation til July 24th when I have to go back to work. That'll be nice. After a long arduous process of trying to figure out a vacation destination, my family finally chose an option that wasn't one of the original ones we were trying to decide between. Thus, I'm going to be going to Toronto for a few days, with stops in Detroit and Niagara Falls. It'll be a great getaway, but on short notice it leaves a little to be desired in the way of setting up plans to see anyone. Ahh well, what can ya do?
