One light illuminates another...

So I occures to me that those people who have found themselves in my life are like lights on my life. You all shine down on me for reasons that are not at first obvious to me. I would think your light would be better shone on something with artistic merit, on something full of rich colors and thought and expression. Then it occures to me that what you are all doing is shining on me so that I can see that I am something with artistic merit, full of rich color and thought and expression. My failure to see this has just been a diservice to all of you who shine so bright and wonder why I still fail to see what should be so obvious.

Thank you all for being there and presenting me to myself. I would really be nothing with out you all.
