yes, jesse, i did list that (somewhere, i dunno where) as one of my early b-day presents... thee entire chronicles of narnia... in one book. solid. solid. solid. awesome. <3

anywho.

WELL.

not a lot more. =P

let's see.

monday, liz and i did something. can't remember what. oh yeah, nothing. haha, seriously. it was a chill day in Woodside. i freakin' love Woodside. the pubs only add to it, haha.

tuesday, i walked 10 blocks over to the nearby cemetery and took pictures. why? 'cause my dad thinks it's morbid, haha. he was joking, i was amused. anywho, i got some good ones. lots of italian and irish, lots of interesting stuff. big cemetery, but not the biggest. it's like everyone in NY went to die in queens, sheesh.

yesterday, went back down to lower manhattan and went to Ellis Island. SO FEW PEOPLE... i was peeved. then amused. went over straight to E.I., got some better pics with the good camera. i love history. it was great. haha, and i wore my Bosnia jacket, and made some Russian guys look at me funny. AND, haha, i saw this guy who looked like an italian version of reed vanorsdel. SERIOUSLY. it was the funniest thing. and, i was surrounded by scottish people. that was not funny.

today, i'm in upper manhattan. took my sweet time about getting up here, 'cause i can. after this, i'm gonna go check out St John the Divine 'cause it's a huge awesome cathedral, and they've got alcoves with stuff in it, artwork, and including one cove that holds the US AIDS memorial book, and one that holds genocide memorials -- armenian, the holocaust, and bosnia. and, did i mention it's big? so i'm gonna go check it out more in depth, peruse the grounds, and stay up here til 4-ish 'cause liz will try to come up, 'cause it's only walking distance from Pat and Cindy's, and Pat called liz last night to tell her that her laptop came in, so we'll go get it, and i'll get to meet Pat (who is cool), and i may get to meet the bosnian guy who works in the building. =P now THAT would be grand.

aight, yo.

tomorrow, maybe meet up with a friend of a friend in Jackson Heights. or maybe that'll be saturday. who knows. sunday will be worship at st john's, which will be interesting to be with new yorkers on sept 11th, no? monday, then, i fly out.

it's been fun.

peace to you all.

i have been 18 for 6 days now. it.... feels no different. but it does.

i think this is a sign of a need for food. i may temporarily live in an irish neighborhood, but not all of us can live off lucky charms for breakfast.
