Critique:You guys know what this is for~. The usual circumstances. I'm none too confident in my Saïx, so anything is welcome. Tell me

=DYour Saix is awesome. His voicing is very nearly spot on, his language is perfect. I've only been able to see the interactions in your journal so far, and the only thing that has made me wonder a little bit is that short chuckle to Roxas in his first post. The closest he gets in game is a "hmph", which can be really hard to convey, and I think that's effect you were going for, just be careful with it ( ... )

I think the one that's helping me with his voice is the fact is Samurai Champloo's Jin and that makes me memorize his tonal quality better. Th-that's just me, though. I'M SORRY YOU HAVEN'T SEEN OTHER THREADS; I haven't done much with him because of ... fff, lack of confidence. I usually find it pretty hard to play the baddies, because while I get the voice and feel down at first, long-term running can be difficult. Staying evil.
I definitely want to avoid the whole Discedo-Scientists-Heart thing. I think Saïx would probably reject a heart that wasn't his own, with it having connotations to his "Diviner" side.
Iiiiii really had no idea how to interact with Roxas, since Days isn't out yet, and ... well, Roxas is a traitor. The chuckle was meant to be more malicious, I think, but I may not have written it well ( ... )

I do the same thing with Jin. You're not alone. Playing the baddies is difficult, especially in places like this where fighting and killing people gets them nowhere, and their usual goals are blocked off. I know the problem very, very well. If you keep him a manipulative bastard, and give him short term goals focusing on the remaining Org members, and longer term ones centred around Kingdom Hearts and getting out of the city, you should be able to keep it up. The problem with keeping most baddies evil is that they lose direction, but you seem on track to keep hold of one for Saïx ( ... )

That said, Saix-player-person, keep up the good work. o/

Well I've only been playing him for like two weeks now, lmfao. I don't even have his profile or anything set up. /fail-mun hi i'm Jade. The goal advice sounds pretty good, though; I'll keep that in mind.
Definitely! And that also says a lot about his binding to Xemnas; that he does trust him to help him get his heart back. I always said he seemed more loyal to the end result than the cause and the man.
... Oh, good point! I hadn't thought of that. HE MIGHT BE that would also make me laugh. He's so ... dead. That's the only remotely easy thing about playing him. You can pretty much just be :|.
If I had a paid, I'D USE ALL OF THEM, BB. ♥ I think Jas (Roxas-Mun) linked me to your account and I swiped them, actually. XD

I always thought that about Xemnas. Saix is loyal, but only as much as it will get him what he wants. His aims run concurrent with Xemnas' so he'll work for him. He's still not getting a heart for free in that deal, though.
That's one of the things I love about Saix. He's an intelligent, conniving bastard, who probably would solve all his problems by hitting them if he thought it would work, and he is constantly in a state of lineface. I got bought a paid account for him with 100 icon slots and nearly cried, because he hardly ever does more than go :|
Fortunately, he has a flair for dramatic hand gestures, so it worked out.
asdfghjk why was Jas looking at my account in the first placeohgod. They were my first attempt at making icons, and you can tell which ones I made first, because they suck horribly. They're all still in my journal, somewhere ( ... )

PRECISELY~. That's why I hate when people label him as Xemnas's pet. I just don't find it to be true.
THAT'S WHY ... I'M NOT BUYING ONE FOR HIM, LMFAO. I think I have everything I need for him besides some Claymore shots. ... And, dude, all of KH have a flair for dramatic hand gestures. It's the animation. I never cease to laugh when Roxas gives his "I see myself blahblah" line to Naminè because WTF IS HE DOING WITH HIS HANDS LMFAO.
Because I asked her to find me icons. That was the deal. She found me icons, I'd play Saïx. XD /easily won. Lmao, I'm guessing youtube shots? That's how Kelly got all hers for her Rep (which is your Repliku, too |D)

He can't be Xemnas' pet; he doesn't prioritise telling Xemnas everything. Saïx has a better idea of what's going on than Xemnas does most of the time. Turning up after your boss has done the "Who's that?" routine about Kairi and going "Yeah, I have her" is a really good way of making your boss look stupid and out of touch with events.
I love the hand gestures, and the way he sits. He's more expressive with his body than he is with his face, and it's hilarious.
Hey, it's a good thing to be won with. Yep, youtube shots. I have horrible image editing software, too, and no experience, so the fact that some of them turned out reasonably well is something I'm very happy about. I think Kelly did hers after I did mine.

HAHA HE DOES. It's so, so true. It's a good thing he knows how to put things so well, otherwise that could end up with some, uh ... retribution from that, lmfao.
Makes sense! Probably downloading them from kh-vids would be better, though; it seems like their stuff's a bit more high-quality. If you take it to a higher resolution like full-screen and then downscale it, it also seems to condense colors better. Just in my experience.

Retribution? Can you imagine being lectured by Xemnas? You'd wish he'd just turn you into a Dusk and get it over with.
Unfortunately, I have an old, crap laptop, and no software to take screencaps from videos on my computer with. I only have Windows Media to watch them on to start with, now. It suffered an epic meltdown last November and I lost everything on it. This was the best I could do with what I've got, after that.

We always call it pontificating, really.
