Writer's Block: Daily Grind

Mar 09, 2009 08:34

Usually? Well...

5:00 am: Wake up
5:02 am: Actually get up
5:03 am: Get hand bitten off by younger sister for making her get up
5:05 am: Get into the shower
5:15 am: Get out of shower, get dressed
5:16 am: Get other hand bitten off by younger sister for "taking too long"
5:18 am: Unload and reload dishwasher
5:25 am: Put up hair, get hat and glasses on
5:27 am: Grab mug of coffee, put toast in toaster
5:30 am: Eat breakfast
5:35 am: Ignore younger sister for whining about coffee
5:40 am: Wander around house doing absolutely nothing while waiting to go
5:50 am: Mumble prayers; use time to daydream instead
5:55 am: Get driven to bus by either dad or younger sister
6:05 am: Get on 118 bus to ferry terminal
6:20 am: Get on ferry boat with mass of other commuters
6:40 am: Get on 116 bus with mass of commuters
7:05 am: Get off bus downtown and transfer to 10.
7:30 am: Arrive at school

After that, it's pretty lame. Just three hours of class. But that's usually how it goes.

morning, routines, writer's block, habits
