“I don’t like them.”
“Why not?!”
“They’re uncomfortable.”
“You haven’t even tried them on yet!”
“I can see perfectly well that they will be extraordinarily uncomfortable.”
“How can you possibly tell?”
“How can you possibly tell that ‘that skirt will make you look fat’? Surely if we follow your preferred system of trial and error you would need to try on every single skirt in the store before you would know for certain whether or not they would make you look robust, or obese, or emaciated.”
“…Honey, what about these ones?”
“Penny, I thought I had made my feelings on Velcro perfectly clear. If I can barely distinguish it as a revolutionary scientific discovery as it is so often lauded as, you can hardly expect me to put it on my feet every day

Ahahahaha! That was so perfectly Sheldon. I loved this -- just the idea of Penny and Sheldon shopping together (especially after her reaction to that dark suit of his!) is aces.
