Haha! I could so picture Penny and Sheldon attempting to one-up each other at a carnival. And poor Leonard, stuck in the middle (with Archimedes).

...and you know that the gorilla is going to end up sitting in amongst all those brightly-coloured leering and smirking pseudo-creatures that Penny owns, a big black presence, really putting Leonard off. (Sheldon's even added Leonard's spare glasses, for verisimilitude...)

They were halfway home from the market when Penny swerved the car dangerously, screeching to a halt at the side of the road. "Penny, what are you doing? You realize you were about five feet shy of slamming into that mailbox, yes?"

"Sheldon, look!" She nearly jabbed him in the face with her excited pointing across him, out the passenger-side window.

He followed where she was pointing and frowned. "It's a playground."

"No," she corrected, throwing the car in park and cutting the engine. Unbuckling her belt then, she pushed open her door. "It's a new playground! Come on ( ... )

Gaahh...this was so sweet. I love the images of them being playful and Sheldon indulging Penny and them swinging together. :D

Ha! This was awesome. Love the idea of Sheldon becoming enthralled by Penny's continuous (innocent?) consumption of candy canes.
