The idea was to leave a bunch of blank post cards inviting people to send anonymous secrets. Four books and a website later, it's become a powerful group art project.
I own "The Secret Lives of Men and Women"
The secrets are wonderful, frightening, ecstatic, sad and every emotion you can imagine.
Some of my favorites read:
"I'm beginning to think that my so-called existential crisis is just my personality"
"I exchanged a sexual favor for cab fare" (the photo had the inside of a cab and the graphic where the fare would be read $0 - 1 blow job)
"My favorite movie is Resevoir Dogs, but because I'm a mother of 3, I tell everyone that it's Steel Magnolias"
"I smoked crack last Christmas Eve"
"I want so bad to go back to God, but I don't know how"
So I thought I would post the secret that came to me almost instantly while "reading" the book.
