[The Clinic was a dreadfully dismal, drab, disconcerting place; and yet, all Kairi could manage to keep floating around in her weary mind was, 'Where's Sora?'
There had been several Organization members that had drifted in, then out, and while it was a concern over general disappearances, they were no personal loss. Then Riku had vanished, and her confidence had begun to crack. Now, Sora - as much as she wanted to deny that anything could have happened to the young hero, one of her best friends... well, she was supposed to keep faith! Stay strong, supportive, and most of all, smiling!
They were just... just dead things. Like that one town he told me about. He could have handled them, right? Why? Why? Why is he not here? Why hasn't he said anything? Where is he? He couldn't have...gotten hurt, or - He was just here - Where? Where is he? Where is Sora?
It was enough to make each heartbeat feel like the echo of a thousand tears; enough to make her wait near the door, although the nurses told her to "shut up and stay put until the corpses go away," although her coughs had not fully subsided and everyone one of them still hurt like sandpaper and hellfire; enough to make her linger in the lobby until the staff ignored her as her treatment had been completed for now (there were other people in more critical condition, after all.)
...At least, just maybe, there was still one person she knew from home; just one left to talk to-]

Um. Axel? I guess [single cough] it's not over yet. The clinic people said to wait here until ev-every- [and three more coughs here]-everything's over out there. How are things - how are you?

Is everyone else still holding out alright? Any way I might be able to lend a hand for anyone?
